Matt is a senior development and project manager with over 25 years’ broad experience across the development life-cycle; working on a diversity of projects at the building, precinct and city-scales. 

With a balanced career in both the public and private sectors, Matt has worked on a variety of asset classes, as either contractor or client’s representative.

Matt is a recognised leader in field of sustainable development and has been instrumental in the strategic planning, business case development and implementation of exemplary projects at varying scales.

Signature projects include-Council House (CH2) Building, Federation Square, Nakheel Harbour and Tower (proposed 1.4km high mixed used tower), Waterfront City (14,000ha greenfield development for a population of 1.7M) and, at a strategic level, embedding sustainability into the entire portfolio of Nakheel developments (for an estimated population of 3 million) and later repeating this for the entire portfolio of urban renewal and green-acre projects in Sydney and Newcastle for the NSW Government’s development agency. 

Matt also spent six years as an advisor to the Abu Dhabi Government and is experienced in leading the strategic planning and implementation of ambitious initiatives to reduce the ecological footprint of the emirate.
